Earth Day San Mateo 2009
Earth Day—San Mateo Campground, Sunday April 19, 11AM-5PM
The chapter will again be supporting an Earth Day event at the San Mateo Campground off Los Christianitos Road in San Clemente. Admission is free to both campground and event.This is our 3rd year and we will have a booth along with other conservation groups and various arts and crafts venues. We are pleased to support the main sponsors of the event; the local Juneno/Acjachemen native American tribes, whose ancestral burial grounds are close by.It is earth day everyday for them and they are proud to educate and entertain us with storytelling, dances, site tours and much more.
