Los Alamos Creek/San Mateo Creek outing
The chapter is hosting an outing on the upper reaches of San Mateo creek (Los Alamos Creek area) on Saturday, Oct.18th. We will meet at the Denny’s Restaurant off Ortega Highway and I-5 freeway at 8AM. We will then carpool and drive up, approx. 1 hour.
We will be doing general survey work, collect and clean minnow traps and do some water quality testing. Bring your own lunch, work gloves, hat & sunscreen and energy. We will return at approx. 1:30PM, be back at the Denny’s around 2:30-3PM.
