Red Gold Movie, Long Beach Casting Club, Mar.6th, 2010, 7PM

There will be a showing of the documentary movie, Red Gold, at the Long Beach Fly Casting Club, March 6, 2010, 7 PM. Red Gold relates the story of the on-going issues of a proposed copper & gold mine in Bristol Bay, Alaska.For those southern CA folks who fish in Alaska (and there are a lot of them), this is a must-see film about the perils of hardrock mining in the world’s largest sockeye salmon fishery.

The movie is produced by the Sportsman’s Alliance of Alaska and supported by Trout Unlimited.
