South Coast projects still on hold

On Dec. 19, 2008, the chapter was issues a ‘stop work’ order on two of our main projects on each of our principal OC watersheds.
The San Mateo Restoration project, in year 4 of 5, has been idle save for a few volunteering outings.
Meanwhile, the MetroLink Fish Passage design phase on Trabuco Creek was scheduled to finish this month.
It too, is on hold until the state agency gives us the green light.

Hopefully, state bond sales will remain strong and we will get the ‘green light’ back-to-work order soon.
