Trabuco Creek Cleanup Day

TRABUCO CREEK CLEAN UP DAY
SATURDAY, JUNE 26,2010 9AM-NOON

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The South Coast Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be hosting a stream cleanup project on 1-2 stretches of Trabuco Creek in San Juan Capistrano. Our chapter has been working on southern steelhead restoration efforts in this area the last 6 years, striving to provide a clean, healthy, migratory passageway for the fish.
Please bring work gloves, hat & sunscreen,personal water and your energy and enthusiasm! Wear old shoes as they may get wet. Waders optional.We will be picking up trash and debris only, no heavy lifting. A BBQ lunch will be provided.

Directions
Take I-5 south to Junipero Serra exit (one exit past Avery Parkway)
Go west toward ocean one block, turn right (north) on Camino Capistrano
Drive approx. ½ mile until you see the Trabuco Bridge and concrete apron underneath
Park anywhere on either side of the road and follow the Trout Unlimited signs.
